New Semester, New Opportunities!
It is already 2019 and the first week of the new semester is off to a great start! The second week of the new semester is almost done. A new semester means new opportunities, especially for students to accomplish their educational goals.
Here are tips for a great semester:
- Utilize student resources: OTC offers a diverse and a variety amount of student resources that is equipped to help students succeed (the library, tutoring center, disability office, etc.)
- Stay motivated: It is easy to lose motivation as the semester progresses. That’s why it’s important to remember the end result of our goals.
- Communication: OTC is equipped with teachers and staff members that are ready to help. That’s why you need to communicate your needs to teachers and staff. After all, they are only human.
As the semester progresses, it can be easy to lose sight of the end goal regarding education. It is also easy to create an opportunity that results in a (negative) snowball effect, which negatively impacts your school performance. That is why you need to take necessary steps to avoid this snowball effect.
